What is eScrip?
It helps Trinity and here's how:

eScrip is a hassle-free way for churches and other faith based organizations to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants.

Here's how it works: eScrip has created a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of purchases to your chosen faith based organization - Trinity Episcopal Church 166449436. Parents, friends and families are encouraged to register their credit, debit cards and grocery club cards as supporters with the eScrip program. Upon receipt of registration, a percentage of all purchases made at eScrip merchants will be given back to the designated faith based organization.

Special Back to school Vons Promotion:

Mark your calendar August 12 thru September 15 Vons Grocery store is donating 10% of purchases to eScrip up to $10,000. If your friend/family member co-worker does not want to sign up for eScrip ask them for their receipt. The eScrip coordinator, can redeem to them and we will get 10% of the receipt. Once you have signed up for eScrip, there is no need to turn in receipts made on that card; they are automatically in the system.

Simple Registration:

1. Click https://secure.escrip.com/jsp/supporter/registration/step1.jsp to go to eScrip's registration web site. It's a secure site, so the information you submit will be encrypted. Click on Group ID and enter 166449436. You will get a window confirming Trinity Episcopal Church. Click Next.
2. Enter First Name, Last Name, address, city, state and email address. Click Next.
3. Register your Grocery (Vons, Safeway, etc.) and eScrip cards by selecting the appropriate card under card type and entering your card number. Click Next.
4. You may register additional credit and debit cards. Click Next.
5. You may register Macy's credit and gift cards. Click Next.
6. Review information entered. If incorrect, click Edit beside the incorrect information. If correct, click Confirm.

On the next screen you will receive a Supporter Identification Number. Make note of it. At the bottom of the page you can create your own password so you can return in the future to edit your eScrip account, change personal information, add or delete cards.

After you've finished, you'll find yourself at the member screen where you can search for merchants who participate in the eScrip program. You find names such as Claim Jumper, various cruise lines, Eddie Bauer, North County Times, Macy's, Major Market, Union Tribune, Shakers, Safeway, Spencer's, and Vons. If you've registered your shopping card or credit card, anytime you use it at one of these merchants, Trinity will receive the benefit described.

There is a wealth of other information on the eScrip web site. In addition to finding merchants who participate in the program, there is the online store and the eScrip Visa program. Also, look for the flyers we will be sending your way.

After completing your registration, you will receive a couple of emails from eScrip confirming that you have been successful and giving you your ID number just in case you forgot to write it down. Your on-line registration is effective immediately, so the next time you use any of the cards you have registered, Trinity receives the benefit.
