Bring on the chili! Trinity's annual meeting was preceeded by the traditional chili cook-off. It was a grand event as you can see from the photos below. The new winner of the parish competition is Emma Wilson with her vegan chili. Second place went to Joe Stanford for his El Dorado Red chili. Third was last year's champion, Matt Wilson, and his Firehouse chili. In the "tender tummies" category, Paul Hunter's taco soup placed first. In second was Moina Lucent's monastery-style lentil soup.

Then the annual meeting: After parishioners were well fortified with chili and soup, the annual meeting began. Trinity's new vestry and officers are: Joe Stanford, senior warden '08; Bob Harrison, junior warden '07; Paul Hunter, '07; Danny Jones, '09; Neil MacDonald, '09; Chris Manning, '08; Jim Murtland, '08; Paul O'Connor, '08; Leila Sackfield, '07; Gillian Simcox, '07; and Marshall Whittlesey, '09.
Delegates to the 2007 diocesan convention are: Leslie Mette, Cindy Shamel and Matt Wilson. Alternates are: Carolyn Casselman, Suzan Reiner and Sue Stockton.
