Trinity ToyMakers had a fantastic year in 2006, once again producing an abundance of toys for children in need in the local area. Under the expert leadership of Head ToyMaker Joe Stanford, the ToyMakers began their labors early, completing their designs in late spring and commencing assembly-line construction in early summer. Construction continued throughout the summer with 5-15 parishioners participating in each of the the bi-monthly work days. Overall, 40-50 parishioners volunteered in the project, producing over 350 toys for distribution.

The toys were blessed during worship service on December 17. The altar was literally surrounded by toys. Some toys even found their way to the altar itself, reminding all of the love they represent.

Following the blessing service, the toys were delivered to Interfaith Community Services (ICS) in Escondido for distribution to needy children in the area. Later, John Martinet was featured speaker at an ICS luncheon where he described the Trinity ToyMaker story.
