The Choristers and Adult Choir went caroling in downtown Escondido on December 8th. It was a cold, rainy evening, and it felt very Christmassy. We all had a wonderful hot soup dinner together and singers, family and friends all went to town. Together. We had been invited to sing by the Downtown Business Association, and it was a huge success. 25 of us attended.
It was so much fun scurrying around in the light rain to squeeze under awnings and into packed restaurants. We were welcomed everywhere, and our church banner was prominently displayed. One coffee house gave us free hot chocolate. The best part was the enthusiasm and participation shown by our Trinity Choristers and very small children. We sang songs that our children will very likely not sing anywhere else.
It was a very special evening, and we intend on caroling again next Christmas. Plan on joining us for a memorable, and important Trinity "Family" time.
