Convention Delegates for 2009 are Bob Harrison, Suzan Reiner and Tamara Stark. Alternates are Julie Carroll, Sandy Dabasinskas, Jim Hannan and Jane Schuler.
The five candidates for Vestry announced in the People of God were voted into office by acclamation. The new Vestry members are Robert Kitson, Michal McKee, John Monsegur, Steve Fritzenkotter and Paul DesForges. Paul DesForges will also serve as the new Senior Warden, and Dotty White will be the Junior Warden.
Cook-off results: Chili Category - Emily Cutrer, San Antonio Red, 3rd place; John Monsegur, Real Chili, 2nd place; and Pam Putnicki's El Paso Chili won FIRST PLACE!
Julie Carroll is the "Tender Tummy Queen" with her Sausage Sauerkraut Soup. In the decadent desserts, Suzan Reiner, Kitty Litter Cake, 3rd pace; Dick Mette, Chocolate Decadence, 2nd place; and Georgina McKee, 1st place with her aptly named Perfect Chocolate Cake.
A total of $540.83 was raised in this totally rigged, unfair, biased, but utterly delightful competition! The funds will go to the Envisioning Trinity Campaign.
