The Palomar chapter of the American Guild of Organists sponsored a scholarship benefit concert at Trinity October 19, 2008. The concert featured organist Alison Leudecke and Millennia Consort Presidio Brass & Percussion. The concert was followed by a wine and cheese reception in Triity's fountain courtyard.
The evening was part of a huge worldwide effort to attract new audiences for the "King of Instruments," the organ. Over 250 organ concerts were presented throughout the world. The concerts were designed to appeal to a large, diversified audience and to promote the continued growth of the AGO and attendance at concerts.
The theme of the concert was --- wine! How appropriate that it be held in an Episcopal Church!
