2009 was a banner year for Trinity's ToyMakers. On December 20 Trinity ToyMakers brought to the worship services at Trinity all of the 469 toys we made this year. They were placed on the altar and blessed by Rev. Meg. It was quite a spectacle! If you missed it, just take a look below to see photos of the toys for this year.
Head ToyMaker Joe Stanford reports that many have given their time and energy to getting this job done. "There were over 25 folks who came to the workshop in Fallbrook to work, and many of them came numerous times to put in work hours. Many, many hours were dedicated to the toys in addition to the workshop hours. Special recognition should go to the ToyMakers who painted little people, and made quilts and dolls for the doll cradles. Our thanks for a job well done is knowing that our toys are in the hands of children, and that we had a small part in giving them pleasure this season."
"We distributed our toys to Palomar Hospital, Tri City Hospital, New Alternatives, and Interfaith Community Services. Also, on January 3rd, a group of seven of us from Trinity joined a few more from the Episcopal Cathedral to take some of our toys and visit the children in Dorcas House in Tijuana. So, our toy coffers are practically empty and we are already thinking about next year!"

"I am absolutely blown away by the wonderful ministry of the toys! I am an Episcopal Priest, actually the aunt of Hudson Elliott, and I am humbled by this gift of so many hard working people. May you continue to embrace the world in the name of Christ."
