SPIRITUAL SUPPORT GROUPS
Daughters of the King: Trinity’s chapter of this international Anglican Order for women, members attempt to follow a vow of regular prayer, study and service. The Daughters fulfill these vows at Trinity by acting as the parish godparents to all children baptized at Trinity and by overseeing the Parish Library. Learn more at the national Daughters of the King web site.
Graceful Aging: This group is dedicated to managing the issues of aging with wisdom and grace. Discussion and a book study make up the agenda. The group meets from 2:00 to 3:30 pm on Wednesdays in the library. Sessions are 6-8 weeks long; check events calendar for more information.
Young Adults: This group of young adults (20’s and 30’s) meets on Monday evenings at 7pm to discuss issues of mutual interest. Call the church office for current location.
Wednesday Bible Study: The group meets weekly from 11:00am until 12:30pm each Wednesday. Sessions begin with a time of fellowship followed by a discussion of the Gospel reading for the following Sunday.
Cursillo: A weekend retreat is the centerpiece of the Cursillo movement, sponsored by the Diocese of San Diego. Cursillo aims to renew existing faith with a new appreciation for the presence of Christ in daily life and work. Members of Trinity who have participated in the Cursillo weekend meet in small groups for prayer and mutual support. For more information, check the Cursillo diocesan web site.
